Can you spell Spelunking? I can...

I was trying to post every day of this month, since It is my Surgery month... This month last year, I got my band installed... but I already scewed up my plan of posting every day and like any bandster knows, if you screw up, get right back on the horse. So, 2 posts today should catch me up... Here's the first. As you know, I was on a cruise last week. You saw my climbing the waterfall... and here i am exploring the caves of Green Grotto. I climbed stairs(Rickety, old wooden ones with Guano/batshit on the rails), It was a rocky terrain and I went everywhere... I even contemplated climbing through this small entranceway... but decided since I was climbing the waterfall afterwards... It would be harder to do it traction. Anyway, I didn't really feel out of breath or winded but it was a great workout... thank goodness with all those desserts tempting me on the cruiseship waiting. My George has always amazed me with his ability level, since he is a year older than me, and junk food is his main food group... but it seems that he's not afraid of anything and he's ready for anything. I have never been a fan of goal weights but I want that to be my goal... I want to say YES to doing things without trying to figure out if I can do it, will I get hurt doing it, Can I fit in it?, Will I embarrass myself and cause my mental state to result in a binge? My goal is to be like George... ready for anything, and scared of nothing!

  5. I am so happy for you. Being able to move freely is wonderful. I remember how impressed I was in Chicago when we walked back and forth from the hotel to the restaurant and then back to the hotel and back to karaoke. You just did it and now you just keep on going. I want you to know that I remember that all the time. So keep it up to keep me motivated. Bought me the Nike transmitter for my shoes today that sends info to my iTouch. Can't wait to get "walking to Chicago"!
