I'm in the Philly suburbs at my brother's house spending time with my 2 perfect nephews Chase(2years) and Blake(4months)... I am truly blessed but, the internet access and my eating habits are not so good... 1/2 a cheesesteak, some pumpkin pie, a little birthday cake(my brother's birthday was last week) and my SIL made some killer oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins. WTF... If i still lived in Philly, I would find those 87 pounds i lost real quick... but alas, I don't. I have turned down alot of treats but I gave in too much. I will be heading home in a few days and get back on track. I have a goal which seemed outrageous but when i did the math, It is very possible. I want to be down 150 pounds by my 1 year bandiversary, March 23rd, 2011. I can do it... definitely but I have to keep up the good work and stop being tempted too often. Now that I put it out there... in writing... Wish me Luck and lots of Will Control(Will power and self control)...
I know you can do it, you totally rock your band!!! And as for the temptations, enjoy them, just a little bit of them ;) and hurry home so you can tackle that goal
ReplyDeleteYOU CAN SO MAKE THAT GOAL!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely wishing you luck, I don't know how anyone could resist such a delish looking sandwich, I want to go out right now and get the best mock philly cheese steak I can find! Best of luck to you and reaching your baniversary goal!
ReplyDeleteYou'll do great! You've come so far already :)
ReplyDeleteI'll wish you luck if you wish me that cheesesteak in the picture. YUMMY. I think that picture singlehandedly revived my dead appetite.
ReplyDeleteAs I see it you have pretty awesome will power and self control as is. Last year this time if you had gone to see your family, I bet you would have had more than half of a cheesesteak! You made some bad choices, but plenty of good ones. Be proud of yourself! Family is the hardest obstacle when it comes to eating I find. Especially the kind that understands oatmeal cookies should always have chocolate chips instead of raisins.
You can do it, Maria!
ReplyDeleteAnd OMG that cheesesteak looks good! :)
You can do it!
ReplyDeleteSOOO do-able, Maria. Just keep up the same pace you have been & you're there! But get the heck out of Philly! :D
ReplyDeleteI think it it totally possible!!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Forget the cheese steak I want the fries...yum!
Good luck on your goal! I hope you make it!
ReplyDeleteIf you can believe it, you can achieve it. Cheesy, I know, but still true.
ReplyDeleteP.S. That cheese steak looks so freaking good.
Only half a cheesesteak is amazing willpower. Sometimes real life happens and you eat more than planned...but you know you're ready to get home and get back to the plan.
ReplyDeleteI dont know what that is in the picture but i can tell you right now i wanna eat it so hard right now ahahaha :D
ReplyDeleteResist temptation, think of all the pounds you have lost... and the goal! You will get there mate.
ReplyDeleteGIRL!!! That Philly steak looks good!!! I would have given in to that myself. I think your goal is doable. I think you can do it. Team Maria!!!
ReplyDeletePhilly is very tempting! I am a sucker for waiting in line on a cold day at Tony Luke's for a sandwich!
ReplyDeleteYou are kicking ass with the band, I know you can do it! <3
You are doing amazing! Its all about moderation. You can do this!!
ReplyDeleteYou've come so far already, you'll make your goal. I know it!
ReplyDeleteI am from Philly so I can tell you that those cheese steaks certainly helped me pack on the pounds. 150 pounds is a lot but you have already lost so much. What did your doctor say? Mine said for me 75 is possible for a year goal. I have 3 months left and 15 pounds to go, it seems so attainable but also so daunting.
